Practical workshops for business creativity

Hyjywae runs structured, hands-on workshops that help people develop creative thinking as a working business skill — not a personality trait.

What we offer

Six distinct formats

Each workshop format is built around a specific creative challenge that comes up in real business contexts. Participants leave with methods they can apply the following week — not frameworks to file away.

Idea Generation Sprint

A focused half-day session using structured divergence techniques. Teams produce a wide range of viable options for a defined business problem — then narrow down using weighted criteria.

Problem Reframing Lab

Teams often solve the wrong problem well. This session teaches how to examine assumptions, shift perspective deliberately, and identify the actual constraint before generating solutions.

clock 3 hours · up to 14 participants

Creative Collaboration Workshop

Designed for cross-functional teams that struggle to build on each other's ideas. Exercises focus on listening, building chains of contribution, and reducing idea-blocking dynamics.

Custom Programme Design

For organisations that need something built around a specific challenge or team context. We scope, design, and facilitate a bespoke multi-session programme after an initial diagnostic call.

How a workshop actually runs

Every engagement follows a four-stage sequence. The sequence is consistent — the content is not.

1
Diagnostic call

We spend 30–45 minutes understanding the team's actual challenge, not the surface-level description of it. This shapes everything that follows.

2
Session design

We select or adapt exercises that match the specific context. Off-the-shelf content is adjusted to use real examples from your industry where possible.

3
Live facilitation

Sessions run remotely via video with shared digital workspaces. Facilitators manage energy, timing, and group dynamics throughout — not just content delivery.

4
Follow-up notes

Participants receive a concise summary of methods used, outputs generated, and suggested next steps. No 40-slide deck — just what's actually useful.

Terms worth knowing

These concepts come up repeatedly across our workshops. Understanding them before a session helps participants get more out of the exercises.

Divergent thinking
Generating a large number of possible responses to an open question without evaluating them. The goal is quantity and range, not quality — that comes later.
Convergent thinking
The process of evaluating, filtering, and selecting from the options generated during divergence. Both modes are necessary — switching between them at the wrong moment is a common team failure.
Constraint-led ideation
Using deliberate limitations — time, resources, rules — to force more specific and often more useful ideas. Blank-canvas prompts typically produce worse output than constrained ones.
Psychological safety
The team condition where people contribute ideas without fear of being dismissed or judged. Without it, creative exercises produce polished but safe ideas — exactly what most organisations already have too many of.

"Most creativity workshops fail because they treat ideation as an event rather than a skill. We build the skill. That takes repetition, not inspiration."
